Tap Into the Essence of Your Spirit
Tap Into the Essence of Your Spirit
Chi (qi) is bio-energy or life force energy. It is the essence of a person’s spirit. Trapped in a physical body, the spirit is an abstruse, mystical and complicated mechanism. It is a gift from Almighty God, the Creator; or we can say it is a smaller part of God, because it has the same essence as God.
From the viewpoint of an ordinary human being, we may look like unrelated individuals born into this word, all trying to fend for themselves and live a better life. But the more we separate and divide, the lower we would sink toward the end of the queue of all beings in the evolutionary process of the universe. As highly evolved beings (deities) see it, we are all One, and God has said the same thing in the book, Conversations with God, an Uncommon Dialogue, but this is hard to understand for most people, because they only believe what they see.
Those who practice Chikung (Qigong), if they do it correctly, have a very good chance to activate their primordial Chi (先天炁), the core of the spirit or soul. This is each person's real self, the natural self and the true essence, with which God made each of us.
This God-like quality resides in each of us, so we can say that God is in our hearts or, as the Christian Holy Bible says: the kingdom of God is within you. The Buddhists mean the same thing with different terms when they say all sentient beings have a Buddha nature.
From a different perspective, one can say we all live in God, who is all things, visible and invisible, put together as the whole. There is not a single word that one can use to describe this phenomenon, although Lao-tse reluctantly named it the Tao (道), while Christians call it the Holy Spirit.
This mysterious mechanism in a human being, invisible as it is, is everlasting. It never dies, albeit it may change physical forms in different lifetimes according to how its owner has used this powerful creative tool. In other words, we are all shaping our own destinies in every minute of our life, regardless of whether one knows it or not.
So it is safe to say that the purpose of human life is for each individual to find out that he or she has a window of opportunity (very short compared with the universe) within this lifetime to discover his or her true essence and develop it in order to become reunited with the source of all lives, God the Creator, just like a drop of water reunited with the ocean, the only difference being that as a lesser god, you can still extract yourself from the whole and act individually as you wish.
So people of different religious persuasions should cease their bickerings if they come to know that they all have found the same truth: God is within us and we are all within God, and the Tao is within us and we all live within the Tao, etc.
We live in this huge, all-enclosing pocket of energy without knowing that we have everything to do with it. If you can purify your spirit, you can become one with it and have access to a fountain of life that provides you with endless supplies of energy.
Your spirit is the hidden treasure within your body. The name of the game is: find that treasure, return it to its pristine purity, and through practicing you can even enhance the intensity and power of that energy. There is no limit as to how high you can rise.
This so-called Tao, or God, has exemplified itself in many different qualities, including love, compassion, peace, inner serenity, empathy, sharing, unselfishness, dedication to public wellbeing, seeing all people as your equals, etc.
God has said He (She) is nothing but Love -- unconditional love requiring nothing in return. He does not hate, he never becomes angry, and he does not punish anyone. The Old Testament of the Christian Bible has depicted Him wrongly as a vengeful God. If a spiritual cultivator follows His example and lead his or her life accordingly – treating all sentient beings with unconditional love , then communion or oneness with God will be a natural outcome.
We should cherish and celebrate life because it is so wonderful and meaningful. We have a lot to do and achieve, and the fruit is within our reach. But if one can add one more advantage -- the practice of Chi, the fruit can even be obtained within the current lifetime, rather than after death.
